Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. Tell us the rooms and rough square footage and we will put together a written price covering both the material and the installation.
Which areas do you serve?
Our store is in Largo and we work across Pinellas County — Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Seminole, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor and Tarpon Springs — as well as Tampa and the wider Tampa Bay area.
Is vinyl plank flooring really waterproof?
The SPC planks we stock have a waterproof core, so spills, mopping and humidity do not swell the board the way they do with laminate. Standing water from a flood still needs to be dried out underneath, but everyday moisture is not a problem.
What is a wear layer and which one do I need?
The wear layer is the clear top film, measured in mils. 12 mil suits quiet bedrooms and light use, 20 mil is the everyday choice for families and pets, and 22 mil is what we recommend for rentals, offices and anywhere with heavy traffic.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Often yes over tile or a sound slab, provided it is flat and dry. We check the subfloor first, level what needs leveling, and tell you before the job what preparation the room needs.
How long does installation take?
A single room is usually a day. A typical whole house runs a few days depending on square footage, subfloor prep and how much furniture has to move. You get the schedule with the estimate.
Do you supply material only?
Yes. You can buy flooring from us and install it yourself or use your own contractor. Come by the Largo store to see the full range of samples.
